Women are taking on more leadership roles in the commercial laundry industry, and in the most recent edition of Planet Laundry, Belenky President Emily Prioletti was one of several female leaders profiled in its Women in Vended Laundry feature.

In the article, Emily discusses what it's like to be a woman at the helm of a fifth-generation, family- and woman-owned business, and how the same values and principles on which Belenky was founded has now become part of the company and team's DNA. She also shares that women in commercial laundry face some of the same challenges as other fields, but overall, our industry is very welcoming and there's a seat at the table for those who want it.

Emily predicts that opportunities for women will continue to grow as major shifts continue to occur in the industry over the next five years.
